Rebekah Betts is a rising Senior at Appalachian State University. She is majoring in Health and Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Science and Coaching. Rebekah is currently involved with the Marching Mountaineers and has marched the Alto Saxophone since her sophomore year of high school. She graduated from Broughton High School where she was an active member of their Varsity Lacrosse and Varsity Swim teams all four years. Being a captain of the swim team her junior and senior year was a blast! Rebekah participated in summer swim team at Springdale Area Recreation Club for 13 summers. She is excited to meet everyone for a fun and great season!!
Madeleine Pfaltzgraff is a rising senior at Cary High School. She swam year round for 8 years and is beginning her eleventh year with the MARC Sharks this summer. Madeleine was an assistant coach for the Sharks the past 2 years and can’t wait to help lead the team in Division 3 this year. Madeleine also swims for Cary High School and will be a team captain her senior year. Outside of swimming she enjoys playing trombone in the Cary High Marching Band.
Robert Bennett is a rising senior at Athens Drive High School, has been swimming with the MARC Sharks since he was five years old. He joined the coaching staff last summer. For the last three years, Robert has been swimming with the Athens Drive varsity swim team. Aside from swimming, Robert enjoys participating in CASL soccer and recreational basketball. Robert looks forward to working with the team again to help make this summer as successful and enjoyable as possible.
Callie Howard has been a part of the MARC Sharks family since she was 7 years old, and her interest in swimming itself dates back way before then. She swam year round for Wave in middle school, and in high school adapted to the school team. This past year, her senior year of high school, she was honored with the position of co-captain for Athens Drive High School varsity swim team. In the fall she will be attending UNC Asheville where she will most likely continue swimming as a club sport.
